After a very successful competition last year and requests from entrants for another we have decided to stage "The Great Torrington Cavaliers Giant Pumpkin Competition" again.

The start date will be Sunday 25th May at the Cavalier Inn, 4pm where entrants will be "allocated" their plant by draw.

Later this year, date to be announced, the weigh in will be staged.

There will be a prize for the heaviest Pumpkin and for the most money raised in sponsorship. Entry to the competition is £5 per plant.

Entry forms are available from the Cavalier Inn and all entries must be in before the 25th to guarantee a plant.

Rules will be issued with the entry forms and announced at the allocation on the 25th at the cavalier.
