As usual the Cavaliers help the Mayfair committee with this very special event.

• We put up the bunting and the "Us be plaised to zee 'ee" banner.
• We put up the grandstand for the officials.
• We help set up the square early on Mayfair morning.
• We entertain the crowds before the ceremony starts.
• We steward the lower square to prevent any accidents when the band and procession march in.
• We entertain again in the afternoon.
• Once the celebrations have passed we take everything down again and store it until next time!

The Mayfair committee do the rest and what a good job they do. We must continue to work together to keep this tradition going!
