Also Bob Fisher's Son in Law (Kevin Marchant) and Grandson (Cody Marchant) were onsite and so we could not miss the opportunity to photograph "3 Generations" of Cavalier members. Bob was a fireman for many years so we had to get a photo or two outside Trumpton fire station.
There was a lot of wood and materials that had been delivered to site by local builders etc. throughout the build process, but now are at that stage we need no more as the main build is all but completed. The space between the Fire station and Pippin fort was unused so a team ereceted a wall and started to build the bakers shop, this gave us space behind to stack the materials that are not needed. A good day in all cleared much of the area behind the bonfire.
The scaffolding has started to come down so the upper part of the Clock Tower in nearly unobstructedand some finer details like the fence are starting to be fitted
Inside "The Murray Arms" the local residents have been enjoying a drink
We shall now be working onsite on Saturday`s, Sunday's and Tuesday evenings. We also need to have weekly meetings now to ensure everything is place and these will take place inside the Murray Arms after the Tuesday evening working session!
