Bonfire build update - April 4th
The sun was shining today and we again had a good team working on site. Things are moving on niceley.
The workshop is now in use where all the finer details are costructed in the dry with the necessary electric tools to hand. When we have finished with the workshop it will be turned into shops.
The chimney sweep visited today to ensure we didnt get any chimney fires!
The Town Hall and Clock Tower are now coming on well.
Chippy Minton and his helpers were constructing the Band Stand.
The Decorators have been onsite painting the first house.
Andrew Morris has nearly finished the top of the windmill. If all goes well this will be lifted into place on the Whitsun bank holiday Saturday in May. Keep your eye on this site for more info re this spectacular "crowning".
