Cavaliers are invited to the 40th Anniversary Torrington Roscoff Twinning

A group of Cavaliers went to Roscoff last September for a weekend break and the people of Roscoff found aout and invited us to a civic reception in the evening where we were met by the Mayor and members of the Roscoff twinning committee. We were given wine and nibbles and it was  truly wonderful gesture.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Torrington Roscoff Twinning which started in 1970. We were invited to attend the civic ceremony in the Plough when the Roscovites came to Torrington over the Easter weekend. Some of those that went to Roscoff last year attended and a few wore thier costumes for a bit of colour. It was nice to be invited and welcome those that welcomed us in Roscoff.
