Funday 2014
What a fab day, the weather was dry and sunny and stayed throughout. The crowds enjoyed the event where the yoingsters could play to their hearts content whilst the parents could relax and have a drink from our bar or food from our food tent. At 6pm the event moved to the rock concert with a variety of live bands entertaining the crowd until late.
There were a couple of surprises later when Andrew Morris and Neil Batty "volunteered" to have thier chests "waxed" (with duck tape!) and in doing so raised nearly £300 between them for the Cavaliers Bonfie fund. Please see the photos and the Youtube links below.
We would like to thank: The Commons Conservators, The plough Arts Centre, Phil Vanstone, Torridge Transport, Xanadu, The Green Lantern, Slice of life, Sreetz, Torridge District Council, Steve Gladwin, Shaun Roach, Glen Bealey and A plantand the bands who all played free of charge. (apologies if I have left anyone off please contact me to put you on). Without your help we would not be able to put on these events. Also thanks must go to all those who attended and made the day such a success. THANKYOU ALL!
