Whilst the soldiers had to deal with their emergency the Trumpton ladies enjoyed a drink in the Murray Arms and moved to the bandstand to enjoy the summer evening sun.

Something was stirring in Trumpton square, the Murray Arms was full to capacity, the lady folk were out and about, soldiers were keeping an eye on what was happening and the firemen were gathering at the bandstand. When the firemen started to play everyone started to dance!
