A Unique screening of "Tarka the Otter" celebrating 30 years

What an excellent event. It was a FULL House. Richard Williamson gave a speech about the Williamson family before the showing and afterwards questions were taken about the film by Richard Williamson, Peter Talbot ( Otter handler ) and Steve Downer ( triple emmy award winner).

And finally a cheque was presented to the Hospice for £1500. 

An email received from Peter Talbot; After such a moving weekend it is difficult to know how to thank The Cavaliers and all the people of Torrington. It was, of course, a privilege to be asked to help with the appeal and a great joy to visit Torrington again. Please know that the kindness and generosity of everybody has left me with a memory to cherish alongside those of my time with Spade all those years ago. I will be keeping a fascinated eye on the many activities of The Cavaliers via the internet in future and wish you all every success in your endeavours. Yours ever, Peter.
