Bonfire November 3rd 2007
Our usual November spectacular went off with a bang.
The Usual build up started the weekend before with the "Penny for the Guy" collection which was held outside the Black Horse in the square. Steve Young and Dick Matthews with the guy which was kindly made by the residents of Woodland Vale. We had a record crowd who came to see our bonfire and excellent fireworks display.
The fire was lit by Torrington`s 2007 May queen Beth Williams assisted by our Chairman Chris Stacey. When the fire was well under way the fireworks started.
