Torrington 1646 March- 16th February 2013

1646 March 2013The Cavaliers took over the organising of this event at the very last minute. The weather was perfect, the Cavaliers looked stunning in their costumes and loads turned out for the march at the muster point.

The procession followed the original route of the incoming army down Hatchmoor road, into well street and onto the square. The sealed knot in all their glory lined up in front of the Town Hall with the Cavaliers behind for the Mayor's address and the Town Criers readings.

It was then onto the Churchyard to lay a wreath in remembrance of those killed in the explosion and destruction of the church. The event came to a spectacular climax with a fantastic Fireworks display fired by Two Tigers Fireworks

The Cavaliers would like to thank everyone who attended the march and those that helped and made this event possible. Let keep this very important event going!
