Cavaliers visit Roscoff
One of our members has moved to France to live and we thought it would be a good idea for us to visit them in Roscoff, Torrington`s Twin Town.
8 members and their Partners went over and met our friends for a weekend of Fun and laughter, oh yes and of course a drink or 2!
The Roscoff Twinning (Jumelage) commitee heard that 17 Torrington people were visiting their town and they invited us to aperitifs which we cordially accepted. On saturday evening we met in the Hall by the railway station and hand some wine and nibbles whilst the Mayor and the comittee welcomed us to their Town. It was a lovely gesture which we did not expect and have said that we will meet them when they visit Torrington next Easter for the 40th Anniversary of the Torrington Roscoff Twinning.
