Bonfire November 3rd 2007

Our usual November spectacular went off with a bang.

The Usual build up started the weekend before with the "Penny for the Guy" collection which was held outside the Black Horse in the square. Steve Young and Dick Matthews with the guy which was kindly made by the residents of Woodland Vale. We had a record crowd who came to see our bonfire and excellent fireworks display.

Pumpkin Growing Competition Weigh In

Sunday 21st October at the Cavalier Inn where all the pumpkins that had survived got together for the weigh in.

Over the past months the pumpkins have been fed, watered, loved and talked to. Some gave up one was eaten by a rabbit and one gained the massive weight of 50.66kg and one didn`t even register on the scales!

The winner was Joe Collingham whos pumpkin was 50.66Kg. WELL DONE!

Fun & Fireworks 2007

What a fantastic day! Good music, good fun, good beer, good food and an absolutely stunning Fireworks display, like Torrington has never seen before by Two Tigers Fireworks of Tavistock .
