Saturday 16th March 2019 was a very special day because it was the 1st event to be held in the Hall for decades! It had been undergoing a refurbishment program for several years and has finally opened again for business.
We had our annual dinner party in the beautiful main hall with 69 Cavaliers, partners and a few guests. Bev and the team from the Black Horse provided the bar and the 3 course dinner, Thank you!
We have live music from the fantastic NOMADS a 7 piece band playing SKA and reggae and the Knees Up DJ's filling in the gaps. What a brilliant time we had!
We are delighted that the BPT (Buildings preservation Trust) allowed us to be the first to use this wonderful building, Thank you all so much!

Our friend Father Christmas came to Great Torrington again this year and with our help he gave a little present to all the children who visited.
For the Adults we had mulled cider and brandy, hot chestnuts and mince pies with clotted cream all free from the Great Torrington Cavaliers!

The day started with a sponsor event where our supporters and sponsors visited to firstly see the official unveiling of our Hand painted 8' x 4' painted by our President Roger Davies. The sponsors were then shown the bonfire close up and the plans that we are working to whilst having a cup of tee and refreshments. Please visit our Sponsors and supporters page to who is helping us by clicking this link.
After this we started the Family Fun day!
We staged our annual Family fun day on the 25th August. This is a FREE event with plenty of bouncy castles and climbing inflatables, a climbing wall plus much more....
Later we had live music from 4pm with the Last Ranchero's and the Nomads. Thank you so much for supporting us an playing for nothing, we couldn't put on this event without your invaluable support.
